東京におけるグローバルビジネスの拠点である虎ノ門に竣工したビジネスタワー。
オフィスロビーに輝く白い大壁面と無垢な鏡面天井によるシンプルな力強さが、丹念に照らし出した樹木や水簾、アートと美しく調和する。サーカディアンリズムを積極的に取り入れて、日中は白色光により屋外のような清々しい雰囲気を作り、夕方にかけて徐々に色温度の低い落ち着いたシーンへと移り変え、屋外の雰囲気を屋内へと連続させた。積層する水平フィンが特徴的な外装では、奥のロビーへと視線を誘導するように低層部のフィンをライトアップしている。頂部では、東京の夜空に日本的な情緒を与えることをテーマに掲げ、雲の環境映像をフィンの小口を利用して映し出した。
Simple but firm white walls and mirrored ceilings in the office lobby of a business tower in Toranomon, a global business hub in Tokyo, harmonize with trees, falling water, and art objects. In tune with circadian rhythms, white lights create a daytime scene that recalls the outdoors. The scene transitions to a lower color-temperature in the evening to present a calm, indoor atmosphere. Illuminated horizontal fins on the lower part of the exterior guide people into the lobby, while the edges of the upper level fins project clouds to create a Japanese mood in the sky of Tokyo.
