二重の斜め格子からなる木屋根に、すべての空間がすっぽりと覆われている建築。天井をいかに美しく見せ、そのもとで不自由なく過ごせるかがポイントであった。ほとんどの時間は日中に使用される施設のため、全般照明は最小限に用意されている。視覚的な明るさは頭上を覆う大屋根から確保。軒側からなめるように斜め格子の天井面を美しく照らし出した。また作業スペースには自立型のタスクライトを特注製作し、人のいる場所だけ明かりが灯る方式を採用。自然と省エネルギーな運用となる仕組みとした。
Architecture entirely covered by diagonal lattice wooden roof. The design aim here was to give both functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting. Basically, the facility is for daytime use; therefore, the general lighting is minimized. Visual luminance is supplied from the large roof. The surface of the diagonal lattice ceiling is illuminated gracefully from the lower side. For the working area, custom-built task lightings are placed for personal use, and these made possible to create an energy-saving operations.
對角線格子形?的木質屋頂覆蓋著整個建築，我們設計的主旨是既要滿足功能性照明的需求，又要營造出美觀舒適的空間。由於建築通常在白天被使用，所以所有的照明均以最小化作為考量。足?的視覺亮度主要由安裝在屋頂上的照明設備提供，天花板會從下側均?的被打亮，制造出優雅的感覺。在工作區域，設有特制的可以實現節能的照明工具供個人使用。
