Museum
A project to add a museum function to a former Art Library for displaying the art works of the university students, trainees, and faculties. Using the existing electrical plumbing, we added the museum functions there. Considering the maintenance for the large stairwell halls, LED is adapted as a whole lighting source. The installation of numbers of spotlights which able to be raised and lowered the height enables to make a various displaying plans. Moreover, hanging the square-shaped linear lighting rails on the curved ceiling at the center makes possible to deal with displaying flexibly for the sculptures.

Library
Unique library utilized the entire walls as bookshelves. During the daytime, the
natural daylight through the skylights diff used by the double glazing polycarbonate
boards fills the whole library. To meet the users’ demands and to create a comfortable space with huge quantities of books, the elevation surface of the bookshelves is highlighted. By this method of lighting which adds the depth by highlighted walls, a good contrast of brightness is created in the space. In the air, clear light bulbs are randomly arranged in order to soften the intense atmosphere.
