石川県かほく市にある安藤忠雄氏設計の西田幾多郎記念哲学館の外構照明改修プロジェクト。小高い丘の上という立地特性を活かし、遠景・近景・眺望という３つの視点で照明計画を行った。思索の丘と名付けた南側の斜面に新たに設置した150個の光の煌めきは、遠景から見るとまるで花畑のような景色を作りだし、人々の目を引きつける。また、丘を登る道沿いの木々を新たにライトアップすることで、建物に向かう気分をはずませる。建物の最上階の展望ラウンジから見下ろすと、光で浮かび上がる外構の演出照明と市の夜景が一望でき、訪れた人々を楽しませる。
This was an exterior lighting repair project for the Ando Tadao designed NISHIDA KITARO Museum of Philosophy located in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Taking advantage of the site which stands up on a small hill, we designed the lighting from three points of view: far, near, and panorama. The sparkle of the 150 lights newly installed on the southern slope, named “the hill of reflection,” appears like a flower garden from a distance and draw people’s attention. Also, we cheer up the people walking to the museum by illuminating the trees that line the path up the hill. When visitors look down from the observation lounge on the top floor of the museum, they are delighted by the full view of the exterior illumination and the lights of the city.
這是由安藤忠雄氏設計的西田幾多郎紀念哲學館的外立面照明改造工程，位於石川縣kahoku市。用地位於略微隆起的山丘上，此次照明設計充分利用立地特性，從遠景、近景、眺望這三個角度進行了考量。在以“思索之丘”命名的南側斜坡上新設了150個閃爍的光點，從遠處看，花田般的美景奪人眼目。此外，通過新設的照明來點亮登丘道路的行道樹，使人們走向建築時，情緒高漲。從建築最高層的休息廳向下俯瞰，突出的外立面照明和市區夜景一覽無餘，給參觀者帶來喜悅。
