建築家・藤本壮介氏とのコラボレーションによる企画展。真っ白な空間の中に並ぶ雲をモチーフとした和紙の椅子に対し、照明の演出により「重ね」「切り取り」「透け」「繋がり」の4つの表情を与えた。この4つの光の表情をゆっくりと連続して再生することで、白い和紙の椅子の陰影と透け感が滑らかに変化し、あたかも雲が形を変えていくかのような移ろいが空間に立ち現れる。個別制御が可能なDALI制御のスポットライトを用いて実現されたこの展示により、新たな照明表現の可能性が示された。
This exhibition was a collaboration with the architect Sou Fujimoto. Chairs made from washi (handmade paper) stand in a pure white space. We created four different expressions through lighting effects: “layering,” “cutting,” “transparency,” and “connection.” By rendering these four expressions of light slowly and continuously, the scene takes on the appearance of shifting clouds as the shadows and transparency of the white washi chairs smoothly changes. This exhibition was achieved through the use of spotlights that are individually controlled using DALI controls, demonstrating new possibilities in lighting effects.
這是與建築師藤本壯介氏合作舉?的展會。雪白的空間裏擺放著以雲為主題的和紙座椅，對此通過照明賦予其“重疊”“剪取”、“通透”、“銜接”的四種效果。透過緩慢而重複地銜接這四種照明效果，白色和紙座椅的影像和通透感均?地發生變化，空間裏出現了宛如雲片變換形?般的更迭之景。此次展會成功運用了可單獨控制光源的DALI，展示了新型照明的可行性。
