近畿大学キャンパス内に新築された、図書空間・教室・ホール・カフェを内包する合計5棟が複合した建築群。各棟が独自の外観と内部空間を有しており、それぞれの空間デザインのコンセプトが光で浮かび上がるように計画した。なかでも、四隅に建つ４棟をつなぐ中央の図書空間は、都市のような複雑な様相を特徴としているため、光によって散策したくなるような期待感に満ちた雰囲気を創出した。
The Academic Theater is a complex of five newly constructed buildings at Kindai University that include library space, classrooms, lecture halls, and cafes. Each building has a distinct exterior look and interior space. The spatial design concept of each was conceived so as to emerge through the lighting. Among these is the central library space that connects the buildings at the four corners. Because it features a complicated, city-like appearance, we used light to create an atmosphere of anticipation such that will make people want to stroll along.
位於近畿大學校園?近期落成的5棟建築群，?含圖書館・教室・禮堂・??廳功能。?棟的外觀與?部空間獨特，各異的空間設計理念通過燈光加以展現。圖書館樓連接了座落在四個角上的建築，其空間具有都市建築複雜的設計特?，通過燈光、?托出閑庭散?的氛圍。
